Kilcreggan pier is the last traditional wooden pier on the Clyde that is open all year round. A regular ferry from Gourock to Kilcreggan makes use of it. We have a great view of it from our holiday cottage and because of that it has become a favoured subject of mine, most likely through laziness on my part. I only have to go out through our back door, to get a great view. Even so it is a great structure which has provided plenty of inspiration for me.
